Activision Blizzard employees form ABK Workers Alliance and pen open response to Bobby Kotick - maciasforto1988

Employees from across several Activision Rash studios have formed an ABK Workers Alliance, with their first act to release a letter responding to CEO Bobby Kotick's statement on the ongoing cause that accuses the company of harbouring a toxic workplace environment.

The alignment comprises of employees from across Activision, Rash and King studios. These include workers from Infinity Ward, Raven Software, Sledgehammer Games, Beenox, Toys for British shilling, Treyarch, King, High Moon Studios Rash and several more including Activision's QA section.

Their letter, posted to IGN, says they union the recent walkout and letter of the alphabet that was finally signed by much 3,000 employees. It says "Our destination is for the executive leadership team to address their response to the California DFEH lawsuit, acknowledge the reality of functioning conditions across our organization, and commit to meaningful change at Activision Blizzard."

Those up to our necks then go on to address CEO Bobby Kotick's response to the lawsuit from earlier this week, specifically calling out Kotick's decision to call in law firm WilmerHale to channel a revaluation of Activision Rash's policies and procedures. "While we commend the idea of hiring a tierce-party steadfastly to perform an internal reexaminatio, The ABK Workers Alliance cannot living the quality of WilmerHale as an indifferent reviewer."

The reasons for this rejection include WilmerHale's pre-existing relationships with Activision Blizzard and its executives, which it says creates an "unacceptable conflict of interest." The letter also points at the firmly's "history of discouraging workers' rights and collective action," and points to a statement on their public website that says their services let in "advising on union awareness and avoidance."

The letter continues: "We name on you and your executive director leading squad to come better, and to to the full address our list of demands. We will non desolate our cause. Our ranks continue to grow crossways multiple Activision Blizzard studios. Spell on that point are structural problems that only you can address, we are already taking stairs to meliorate our workplace through a number of employee-driven initiatives." These initiatives include worker-to-actor mentorship programs, open listening sessions, community meetings and many.

The letter comes shortly following yesterday's news that Blizzard prexy J. Allen Barack is to leave office from his character at the studio. He'll be replaced past Denim Oneal and Mike Ybarra.
